The Development Trend and Research Frontiers of Distributed Hydrological Models—Visual Bibliometric Analysis Based on Citespace

Based on the bibliometric and data visualization analysis software Citespace, this study carried out document statistics information mining Web of Science database characterized distributed hydrological model knowledge system from 1986 to 2019. The results show a few things: (1) 2019, United States China accounted for 41% total amount publications, they were main force in field research; (2) research involves multiple disciplines, mainly covering water resources, geology, earth sciences, environmental ecology engineering; (3) frontier has shifted using models order simulate runoff nonpoint source responses coupling technologies products that can obtain high-precision, high-resolution with models. (4) Affected by climate warming, melting glaciers accelerated, spatial distribution permafrost resources have changed, which caused non-negligible impact process.
